Philip Hart Helzer (Shepherd) Music Director of Valley Light Opera, professional cellist, tenor in Novi Cantori, actor with Hampshire Shakespeare, Olde Deerfield Players and VLO, is doing his best to dispel public perception of how a vegetarian quaker should behave, along with his vegetarian quaker family of Jordan, Abby and Kate Green, thespians all.
Steve Kallaugher (Polixenes) appeared last year as Claudius in Hampshire Shakespeare’s production of “Hamlet.” This is his fourth Shakespeare play. That leaves 35 more to go, if you count “The Two Noble Kinsmen and “Edward II.” Or 37, if someone finds “Cardenio” and “Love’s Labours Won.”
